Reminder: PSCA Art Auction is Friday night, March 28
Thirty artists, all from South Philly, have donated a variety of works for tomorrow night’s art auction benefiting the Passyunk Square Civic Association.
A range of types of artwork — including sculpture, jewelry, glass, painting, prints, drawing, photography, fiber art and more – will be available, as well as a variety of price points. Some opening bids are as low as $20.
You can still get advance tickets for $10 on this website (click here) until noon Friday, or it’s $15 at the door. Entry also gets you free hors d’oeuvres and wine and beer from sponsors Bitar’s, Cosmi’s, Noord, Tiffin Bistro, Acme, Luxe Vintages and Origlio Beverage.
The auction is from at 7 to 10 p.m. at Annunciation BVM church hall, 10th and Dickinson. Even if you don’t end up coming away with any art, it’s still a pretty cool way to spend a night while supporting a good cause and getting a little complimentary booze and nibbles. Have fun.
