Passyunk Square Civic Association is looking for a few good homes for its annual house tour
Are you proud of your house? Do you live between Broad and 6th streets, Washington Avenue and Tasker? Would you like to support your civic association?
Then the Passyunk Square Civic Association would love to have your home on their annual house tour. This year’s tour will be on Saturday, Oct. 11 from noon to 4 p.m. Participating homes will open their doors to ticket holders who are curious to learn more about one of Philadelphia’s hottest neighborhoods, get design ideas, compare contractors and meet neighbors.
The annual PSCA Home Tour is one the civic’s most successful and important fundraisers. Proceeds help fund the PSCA’s residential street cleaning program, gardening activities and other neighborhood services. For only a few hours of your time (and a lot of positive reinforcement on how fabulous you always knew your house was), you can help raise funds that will directly impact your neighborhood.
In addition to the warm and fuzzy feeling you’ll get from being an upstanding, generous citizen by placing your home on the tour, you’ll also receive complementary tickets to the tour and access to the awesome after-party at Devil’s Den, at Brigantessa, which is providing a free drink and great specials to ticket holders.
The 1100 block of Gerritt Street. The two closest brick houses were on last year’s tour.
If you are interested or have questions, email hometour@passyunk.org by Sept 6. The PSCA is ready to answer all of your questions.
If you are not ready to show off your house (or think your guard dog/cat won’t welcome so many neighbors), home tour tickets are on sale at the PSCA website. Presale tickets are $20 and tickets on the day of the tour will be $25.
The PSCA is also offering advertising in the Home Tour Guide. If you are in real estate, a contractor, interior designer, architect, or have a home decor or improvement shop, this is a great audience for your services. For more information including rates and ad-design services, email hometour@passyunk.org.

Does EPX do something similar?
They do a holiday light tour but I don’t think they’ve done a house tour yet.
