EPX Red Gravy Cook-Off happening in March

After being closed for six years, Triangle Tavern is reopening soon on E. Passyunk Ave., and to get the word out, they’re also sponsoring the EPX Red Gravy Cook-Off.

East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association is hosting this event on Sun., March 1 at Neumann Goretti cafeteria.

Anyone is able to enter the competition–meaning that there will be plenty of homemade sauces from neighbors and professional chefs, as well.

Tickets for the event are $20 and include salad, bread, desert, beverages, pasta and, of course, gravy.

If you enter your gravy into the competition, you could win a $200 prize for the judge’s choice and the crowd favorite categories.
