First Pics: Sweet Memories Chocolates now open at 951 E. Passyunk Ave.

In February we told you about a new chocolate shop, selling homemade treats and supplies to make your own goodies, opening at 951 E. Passyunk Ave. 

Sweet Memories Chocolates officially opened in this Bella Vista storefront on Friday, June 12.

As the mother of three children, Lisa Giacobetti operated this business out of her home, selling homemade treats for years.

Now that her children are older, she decided that now is the perfect time to open an actual storefront for her business.

Giacobetti can do custom orders of various goodies if you’re looking for something specific, in addition to what she has for sale in her store. You can find things like chocolate-covered pretzels, chocolate-covered oreos, rice krispie treats and more chocolately treats.

In addition to being able to purchase already-made treats, you can also buy all of the necessary items to create your own. There are chocolate molds, jimmies, cake pop sticks, chocolates for melting and more in the store.

The shop also carries things like customized sandals, headbands and picture frames also made by Giacobetti.

Sweet Memories Choclates will have an official grand opening sometime in September.

Sweet Memories is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. On Thursdays the shop has slightly extended hours, remaining open until 6 p.m. You can find more information about Sweet Memories Chocolates on their website here.
