Kids Fest at Bardascino Park includes bocce tournament and more fun
Are you training your kid to be the next great bocce champion? Now’s their chance to shine with the Bambino Bocce Tournament at Kids Fest at Bardascino Park.
On Saturday, the park at 10th and Carpenter is playing host to this event with activities for kids including the bocce tournament, a color wheel, music and various other activities.
To enter your child into the bocce tournament, they must be age 12 or under and be able to throw the ball to the other end (or at least pretty close to the end). There are trophies and prizes for the winners, so this is some serious business. There are two kids per bocce team. If your child would like to enter into the tournament, they need to be at the park at 11 a.m. You can register in advance by contacting Larry Lindsay at lwlinds001@aol.com or 215 681-7730.
This event is happening on Saturday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bardascino Park. It’s completely free, so if you happen to be in the neighborhood, you can stop in for some fun with the kids, or just to watch a pretty fun bocce tournament.
