Aprons Soul Food Restaurant to open in former Moe’s Hot Dog House location

Earlier this year, Moe’s Hot Dog House closed after nine years in business at 2601 Washington Ave. 

Now a new restaurant, called Aprons Soul Food, is expected to open within the next two week in the location.

Aprons Soul Food Restaurant originally had a location near Temple University’s campus that opened in 2012. That location has since closed and they have decided to relocate to this Washington Avenue location.

This restaurant, as you might expect from the name, serves Soul Food, along with Italian and Southern foods.

According to the restaurant, they’re expecting to open sometime in the next two weeks. We’ll update you once the restaurant decides on an opening date.
