First Pics: Montreal-inspired bistro called Coeur now open at 824 S. 8th St.
The former Mildred space at 824 S. 8th St. is now occupied by something new. Coeur, a new Montreal-inspired restaurant, opened here earlier this week.
This highly-anticipated restaurant from the owners of Memphis Taproom, Local 44 and Strangelove’s is a new lunch, dinner and bar spot in Bella Vista.
The menu at Coeur includes Montreal-inspired dishes from Chef Andy Tessier, who has worked at a number of spots throughout the city, including Pub & Kitchen and Twisted Tail.
The restaurant serves a variety of options, including some for vegetarians and vegans. Coeur has two large rotisserie ovens, which means that the rotisserie chicken is definitely one of their main dishes. There are also a variety of different sandwiches, salads and more on the menu for lunch and dinner.
The drink menu includes 10 beers and 6 wines on draft, along with bottled beers, wines and a cocktail menu.
The decor of Coeur includes a bunch of art from an illustrator named Nathalie Lete. In addition to prints of her work hung throughout the restaurant, there is also a wall with custom wallpaper from her.
The restaurant seats a total of 120 people.
Coeur is open from Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. The kitchen is open until midnight each day. You can check out Coeur’s website here.
