‘Wheel of Fortune’ filming on East Passyunk Avenue later this month
Recently we’ve seen Passyunk Post’s founder on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and the owners of Green Aisle Grocery on a new Food Network show. Now East Passyunk Avenue is getting some more TV coverage with “Wheel of Fortune” coming to film a segment on the Avenue.
While it’s not clear what exactly will be filmed, portions of East Passyunk Avenue will have parking limitations on Wednesday, October 28 to make way for the show.
Specific areas affected will include the 1600 and 1700 blocks of East Passyunk Avenue and some spots at the west end of the 1100 block of Morris Street. Residents whose parking will be restricted due to this will be able to park their cars in the Acme parking lot from the night of October 27 through October 28.
More details should be distributed soon to neighbors and cars in the areas that will be affected. Parking will be restricted for the filming on Wednesday, October 28 until 6 p.m.
I’d like to solve the puzzle… “DON’T MOVE MY PARKING CONE”
ahahah AJ that’s to funny!!
I used to live on passyunk ave in 1985. I moved to nj. I love your show.
I would like to be a contestant
I watch your show every night and. I think of you and Vanna as my family. I had hip surgery in 2007 and I do not get around very well now.
How can I be a contestant on the show?
And Concetta of Ristorante Pesto at 1915 S. Broad was in NYC on Tuesday taping the Rachel Ray Show which will be on October 22nd or 23rd. I can’t remember which. Call her to get exact date. They were competing with LA and (I think NYC) restaurants. We were at Pesto tonight.
