Beer Peddlers aiming to open over the weekend in Pennsport
It’s been a long time coming for Beer Peddlers. We originally told you about the beer distributor set to open in the former Sleepy’s location at 1942 S. Columbus Blvd., all the way back in February.
The store had originally been aiming to open over the summer, but due some bumps in the road and the longer-than-expected licensing process, things became delayed. Beer Peddlers is now aiming to open next weekend.
This beer distributor is being opened by Pennsport-native, Dan Stevenson in a pretty convenient location adjacent to the Wine and Spirits store. Expect to see hundreds of craft, imported and domestic beers at this store.
We’ll update you once an official opening date is set, but you should be able to shop for some brews over the weekend. In the meanwhile, stay up-to-date with opening information over on Beer Peddler’s Facebook page.
The good news keeps rolling in for South Philly beer lovers. Just last week we told you about a potential new brew pub, in addition to an already-announced brewery opening on West Passyunk Avenue.
