Would you like to see a dog run at Dickinson Square Park?
Dickinson Square West Civic Association has released a survey to gauge the community’s interest for the installation of a dog run at Dickinson Square Park.
Since so many South Philadelphians have fido friends, they’re looking to see if there’s enough interest to create a dog-specific space at the park.
In the survey, they state that that to preserve the beauty of the park and the safety of the children who play there, Dickinson Square West is exploring whether the community would like to see a dog run here. This would be a location for dog owners to let their pets off the leash, creating a concentrated space for dogs to play. They’re also hoping that this would limit the dog waste in other portions of the park.
The survey includes questions regarding community willingness to pay a membership fee to ensure the upkeep of the dog park area, along with a space to add in any comments or concerns about this dog run becoming a reality.

Great, always had hope for this. Eliminate dog waste throughout the Square unlikely.
