Down Dog Healing Cafe closes at 10th and Carpenter, plans relocation

Down Dog Healing Cafe has been located at 10th and Carpenter, directly across from Bardascino Park, since 2013. Not only is Down Dog a coffee shop, but as you can tell from their name, they’re into the practice of yoga, along with a foundation in Ayurveda.

The cafe and Ayurvedic boutique is now closed at their current location, with plans to relocate in the near future.

We’ve reached out to Down Dog Healing Cafe for comment on this new location and what their plans are, but we have yet to hear back. The message on the shop’s door states, “New Year…New Beginnings!” Our guess is that this new location will likely be bigger, with more offerings for their boutique.

With this move, they’ll be leaving behind the Isaiah Zagar mural that was created specially for the shop.

Down Dog’s plans to move leaves this corner coffee shop up for grabs yet again.

    This corner is doomed for coffee shops.

      While that’s true, there’s also never been a good one there in the past decade.
