Shake Shack hosting pop-up tomorrow at Garage
South Philly Shake Shack fans, this one is for you.
Tomorrow only, the burger chain will be bringing specialty hot dogs to Garage at 1231-33 E. Passyunk Ave. so for once you don’t have to head into Center City or University City for dinner from the Shack.
The Super Fry Frickle Dog, which includes Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots, cheddar and American cheese sauce, and crispy-fried Thai Basil Jalapeño pickles, will be offered for $3. You’ll also be able to pick up “Beer Nuts concrete,” which is frozen vanilla custard with Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale and beer nuts. The pop-up event will also include the Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale on draft, along with other beers from the brewery.
Proceeds from this pop-up will be going to the Schuylkill Banks to raise money for the revitalization of the river.
The pop-up event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.
