Restaurant called Heart of Lebanon aiming for September opening on East Passyunk Avenue

Over the past year, even more diverse options have been joining the East Passyunk Avenue restaurant scene. Sate Kampar, Stargazy and the soon-to-open Perla are all restaurants that have helped to elevate and diversify the offerings on this restaurant strip.

Yet another unique option will soon be joining the Avenue. Heart of Lebanon is aiming for a September opening in the former appliance store at 1907 E. Passyunk Ave., located next to Noir.

More from Eater:

After spending 13 years as a chef in the U.K., Lebanon-born Youssef Masri will join the East Passyunk ranks with a “proper Lebanese restaurant”,  meaning full-service, traditional Lebanese cooking. His menu will feature all of the staples of a Middle Eastern restaurant: dips, salads, wraps, and platters, in addition to more nuanced items like braised lamb shank and charbroiled kebabs.
