Fringe Salon to open in new Bok location on August 3
Among the announcements early in 2016 of new tenants for Lindsey Scannapieco’s reuse of the former Bok School was Fringe Salon. The East Passyunk Avenue business decided it was time to pack up their home of 11 years and reopen in a cosmetology space on the 5th floor of the former school.
It is now time for Fringe to close its doors at 1728 E. Passyunk Ave. and open in one of Bok’s spaces at 1901 S. 9th St.
The last day for the location on the Avenue is Saturday, July 30. The salon will then be closed for a few days, before reopening in their new location in Room 505 on Wednesday, August 3.
Fringe’s owner Erin Anderson previously told us that moving to this new, larger space will allow Fringe to expand its list of services.
On Saturday, August 13, Fringe will be having a grand opening party as part of their new effort to bring Second Saturday to locations off of East Passyunk Avenue. From 6 p.m. through 1o p.m. you can stop by for live music, artwork and more.
The hours and pricing for Fringe will remain the same. You can visit the salon Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m.
