On Point coming soon, here’s a look at the Point Breeze restaurant’s menu

In April, Breezy’s Cafe left their location of just about two years. Soon after, On Point, a BYO American Bistro, was announced as the replacement for the space at 1200 Point Breeze Ave.

On Point is aiming for an opening by the end of August and we now have a look at the restaurant’s menu, including everything from Philly cheesesteak omelets to falafel veggie burgers.

While this is not the official opening menu, On Point posted a listing of what you can expect to be eating for brunch and dinner at this new family-friendly restaurant from Juan and Mallory Lopez.

Brunch:

Breakfast Burger: open faced 8oz burger, fried egg, avocado, bacon, lemon aioli
Philly Cheesesteak Omelet: steak, caramelized onions, provolone cheese, roasted japlapeno aioli
The Clucker: sweet potato waffle, fried chicken, honey mustard hollandaise, fried egg
French Toast: Challah bread, mascarpone cheese, rum caramel walnut sauce, seasonal chutney
Steak and Eggs: potato confit, 2 eggs any style, mustard hollandaise
Vegan Granola and Soy Yogurt
Breakfast Nachos: fresh tortilla chips, refried black beans, Mexican chorizo, queso mixto, pico de gallo, avocado crema, 2 fried eggs
Cobb Salad: romaine lettuce, bacon, hard boiled egg, blue cheese, avocado, balsamic mustard vinaigrette
Chopped Salad: romaine lettuce, arugula, black beans, corn, cherry tomatoes, dried cherries, tortilla chips, queso fresco, toasted almonds, preserved lemon-honey vinaigrette

Meat Plate: selection of 3 meats, house-made mustard, toasted sourdough

Mussels and Fries: spicy white-wine tomato broth, shallots, basil, toasted sourdough

Dinner Salads and Sandwiches:

Farm Salad: arugula, roasted beets, shaved apples, goat cheese, maple-balsamic vinaigrette
Lamb Burger: feta labne, Boston Bibb lettuce, caramelized onions, harissa aioli, seasame roll
On Point Burger: tomato, Boston Bibb lettuce, thousand island sauce
Falafel Veggie Burger: cucumber, tomato salad, red onions, feta labne
Gourmet Grilled Cheese: Pierre Robert, gruyere, membrillo, crisp shaved pears

Dinner Entrees:

Fish and Chips: Beer-battered cod, caper aioli,  pickled mustard and red onion slaw
Steak Frites: steak,  grilled asparagus, hand cut fries, chimichurri
Gourmet Mac and Cheese: Build your own
Lancaster ½ Roasted Chicken: Yukon mashed potatoes, caramelized cipollini onions, roasted carrots
Grilled Salmon: preserved-lemon parsnip puree, cauliflower ragu, black olive spread, beet chips

Hours will be from Wednesday through Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and then from 5 p.m. through 9 p.m. You can keep up with the restaurant on Facebook.
