Fitzwater Street Bagels set to open on Friday in Graduate Hospital
The corner of 20th and Fitzwater has been bad luck for small businesses in recent years. Once Beauty Shop Cafe closed after years in the spot, businesses would pop up in the location, but only for short spans of time. Among the recent tenants are the Gold Standard and The Little Cafe.
Fitzwater Street Bagels is now ready to give the location a go, serving breakfast to the Graduate Hospital-area. The new bagel shop is set to open on Friday, September 9.

Owner of this new Fitzwater Street bagel shop is Aaron Wagner, who also owns South Street and Chestnut Street Bagels. In addition to the variety of bagel options, ranging from chocolate chip to pumpernickel, the cafe will also be serving a selection of sandwiches. Sandwich options include a selection of sammies, along with other specialties. If you’re not in the mood for a bagel or sandwich, you can swing by the shop for a quick cup of coffee.
