Fall Fest and Spooky Saturday on East Passyunk Avenue this weekend

Are you feeling the Halloween spirit yet? If not, this East Passyunk Avenue event is sure to do the trick.

Oh holy baby, we sure hope to see you again tomorrow! Our Fall Fest & Spooky Saturday costume contest is staggered by age groups: 11am – 4 & under, 11:30am – 5 to 8, 12 noon – 9 to 12, 12:30pm – doggies! We’ll have prizes for funniest, scariest, and most original in each category. On Saturday, October 29, the avenue will be the place to be for live music, costume contests and more Halloween-themed happenings.

From 11 a.m. through 4 p.m., you can visit the Singing Fountain for activities ranging from pumpkin decoration in the morning to costume contests for children and dogs throughout the day.

Dozens of local artists will be set up for a craft show at the Singing Fountain, there will be trick or treating for kids at stores along the avenue and different shops and restaurants will have specials and events throughout the day.

Activities schedule:

11 a.m. to 1 p.m..: free pumpkin decorating and crafts, along with trick or treating from the crafters set up at the fountain.
11 a.m.: Ages 4 & under costume contest
11:30 a.m.: Ages 5 to 8 costume contest
12 p.m.: Ages 9 to 12 costume contest
12:30 p.m.: costume contest for dogs
1 p.m.: trick or treating at businesses down the avenue
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: free treats at the Singing Fountain and live music
