Pet Valu to open store in Whitman Plaza this December

If you’re planning on taking the holiday season trolley around Whitman Plaza, you might want to stop by this store once it opens at the beginning of December.

Pet Valu is opening next to Payless shoe store in the shopping center at 330 W. Oregon Ave.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Pet Valu sells food and other essentials for your pets. You can buy toys for your dog, litter for your cats, a new habitat for your reptile and other supplies for all of your other animals, whether they’re fish, rats or any other sort of pet.

If all goes as planned, the store should be opening on December 3. Pet Valu then plans to have a grand opening ceremony once the weather gets warmer in March. In the meantime, the store is seeking applicants for sales associates and a store manager.
