Kermit’s Bake Shoppe calls it quits on Washington Avenue
On Friday, November 25, Kermit’s Bake Shoppe posted a short and not-so-sweet message on Facebook about the Washington Avenue business closing.
The “love child of a bakery and a pizzeria” that transformed the location at 2204 Washington Ave. has permanently closed after three years in business.
After the initial shock of the message, Kermit’s lovers reacted, wanting more info. Over the weekend Kermit’s owner, Adam Ritter, took to Facebook, explaining that “Kermit’s had been operating at a loss since its inception.”
