Over the summer, the long-standing Avenue Cheese Shop closed its doors on East Passyunk Avenue. What seemed to be the end turned out to be a new beginning for the shop.

Avenue Cheese is now part of DeMarco’s Italian Specialties at 1338 Jackson St.

The holiday season was always a big time for the shop, with people lining up at the store to get their holiday specialties. DeMarco’s is now carrying Avenue Cheese’s holiday baskets and other items you would have visited the shop for.
