Via Bicycle relocating to Broad and Bainbridge
Via Bicycle has been located at 606 S. 9th St. for 20 years. The long-standing bicycle shop is about to make a big change, with the relocation of the shop and owner Curtis Anthony’s vintage bike collection.
In the spring, Via will be opening in a new location at Broad and Bainbridge, according to Newsworks.
In November, Via hosted a bike auction to clear some of Anthony’s large collection prior to the move. While the new location will be a huge change for Via from the four-story location that currently houses the bike shop, it’s a new beginning for the shop.
A developer recently presented plans for Via’s current location at a Bella Vista Neighbors Association meeting. The plan for the redevelopment of this location includes 17,000 sq. ft. for a multi-family apartment building, with retail along 9th Street.
This building is amazing looking.Hopefully they enhance whats there and not destroy it.
Had bad experience here. This is one of the worst bike shops I’ve been to. If you want an overpriced used bike that they refuse to even clean, then this is the place to do it. If you want some attitude to go with the bike, they provide that as well.
