Walk Against Hunger announces partnership with Thomas’
The Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Thomas’®, as in – Thomas’ English Muffins, for the 21st annual Walk Against Hunger to be held on April 8, 2017 at the Lincoln Financial Field.
Laura Wall, The Coalition’s Executive Director states “We are thrilled to have Thomas’ as the title sponsor of this year’s Walk Against Hunger. Their participation demonstrates Thomas’ commitment to ending hunger in our region and is an important boost to an annual event that raises critical funds for the area’s hunger fighting organizations.”
The Thomas’ Walk Against Hunger serves as a fundraising vehicle for more than 100 food pantries, soup kitchens and hunger-relief agencies in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey. Last year, the event brought in nearly $210,000 to benefit these programs.
