PDAC to Honor Some of 3rd Police District’s Best

On Tuesday, May 9th, the 3rd Police District Advisory Council will be presenting awards to their Officers of the Months for January, February, March and April.

Below are the officers that are selected for officer of the below months for outstanding job while on their tour of duty.

January: Police Officer Brian Karpinski; Badge #2690
February: Police Officers Adam Viola; Badge #6934 and Patrick Scanlon; Badge #9824
March: Police Officers John Farina; Badge #4787 and Michael Guinter; Badge #2742
April: Police Officers Mario Bocelli; Badge #1273 and Lynne Zirilli; Badge #4875

The PDAC is a non-profit group not affiliated with the city. It is composed of volunteer members from various civic and neighborhood groups within the 3rd police district. Their function is to support the District Captain in his interactions with the community at large. Additionally the PDAC supports the community with various programs and events such as a children’s Christmas party, free movie nights, Halloween candy give-away, etc.

The event will be held at the 3rd District headquarters, 11th & Wharton at 6PM.
