A couple of months ago, 1544 East Passyunk Avenue went up for sale and Amelie’s Bark Shop was in near-panic mode at the possibility of losing their business and home.

We’re happy to report that this story has a VERY happy ending.

“We’re SO SO happy to announce that we are officially commercial property owners!!! We finally closed on the property last week and are feeling relieved and most of all thankful. We couldn’t have done it without the support of all of our customers, family, and friends. Amelie’s Bark Shop is here to stay! Looking forward to many more years of happy pups and the best customers around.”

    Great news! A great step forward for the Avenue in general having a business that is not subject to rent increases.
