Family Vacation to rock Gold Star Park Wednesday night.

Bust out your picnic blankets and best shoulder-dancin’ moves, Gold Star Park welcomes Family Vacation to 7th and Wharton Street for a free open-air summer concert tonight, July 9 starting at 7 p.m.

This is the second show in the “Summer Concert Series” at the park, which saw Caribbean ensemble Trinidelphia perform in June. The concerts are held the second Wednesday of each month, with the final one scheduled for August 13th.

Family Vacation, self-proclaimed indie pop kids transplanted from the suburbs to the city, consists of four dudes who met at Temple University. To get a better idea of what you’ll be rockin’ out to at Gold Star on Wednesday night, check out their tunes over at their Bandcamp page.
