First Pics: Pub on Wolf is howlin’ on Wolf Street in Whitman
Pub on Wolf has officially opened on the corner of Front and Wolf streets in Whitman. You won’t miss it, it has a huge hand-painted wolf logo on the side of the building. Offering outdoor seating, cold beers and an assortment of food options, Pub on Wolf is yet another signal that good things are happening in Whitman. Let’s take a closer look!
Owner Ronan Daly said they’ve been open for a month and that he’s looking forward to the regular business once people come back from being down the shore. Currently, the bar offers eight rotating taps and an impressive selection of bottled beer. “The Guinness is awesome,” boasts Daly. He should know a good pint of the black stuff when he sees one, he hails from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
As for food, Pub on Wolf offers chicken wings in a variety of flavors and hot dogs with just about any topping you’d like — including mac and cheese or fried onions. Brats, fries and even a Ribeye special round out the menu for now.
As for fun, there’s a nice pool table in the back of the pub and a dartboard. Thursday nights are karaoke night, which Daly noted have been a lot of fun so far. What goes better with awkward public singing in front of complete strangers? Drink specials! That glorious Guinness we mentioned earlier is only $4 during karaoke night. We promise we’ll save “Like a Friend” from Pulp just for you, OK?
Check out the pics and stop on by for a drink and a dog. Let us know what you think in the comments.
