Spotted: Is this missing snake flier for real?

UPDATE: Metro Philly reports that the snake has been found — stuck behind the owner’s refrigerator.

This flier was posted this weekend across from Beau Monde at 6th and Bainbridge.

So, if you happen to have any information about a 5-foot albino red-tailed boa that “answers” to the name Ripley, give this guy a call.

We emailed him just to make sure this is not some kind of hoax and got this response: “Yes, it’s true. She has been missing since saturday night. I’ve heard that someone found a snake but I haven’t been able to track him down.”

So, someone in Bella Vista may have gotten a big surprise when they come across this sucker.
