Farm-to-table restaurant called Fourth and Cross to open in May

We told you about Fourth and Cross, a new farm-to-table restaurant coming to Pennsport, back in August. Well after months of working on the space at 1527 S. 4th St., there are finally some new details and a rough opening date set for the establishment.

According to owner Andrew Michaels, finishing touches are happening on the space for an early-May opening.

The menu is still in testing stages, but you can expect to see the menu items including locally sourced ingredients from Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative, 1732 Meats and Castle Valley Mill. There will be vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options at the establishment. The coffee at Fourth and Cross will be from ReAnitmator.

Other finishing touches on the space include the exterior signs being installed soon. The signs are designed by Nikki Hagedorn and are being hand painted by Baker Sign Co.

Previously we told you that the plans for the former corner deli include 34 indoor seats and a relaxed American bistro style, which Michaels called “the bastard child of Morning Glory and Parc.” 

Hours for Fourth and Cross will be from Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
