LoMo Civic Association funding community projects through block grant program

Do you have an idea for community improvement and live in the bounds of Lower Moyamensing, from Snyder to Oregon and Broad to 7th? The LoMo Civic Association is offering block grants to help fund community improvement projects that cost between $100 and $500.

Whether you want to arrange a cleanup day with some of these tips for keeping the city litter-free, or are looking to improve your block with other streetscape improvements, these grants are meant to help fund projects that will benefit the community in LoMo.

Other ideas can be things like the installation of new lights for improved safety, or even to fund a block party after a community cleanup project.
