South Philly restaurant burglars caught, facing charges
Since April, there have been a string of burglaries at restaurants in South Philly. Spots including Bing Bing Dim Sum, Cloud 9 Vapor Store, Stogie Joe’s and more were hit over the past few months.
South Philly’s restaurants are safe again now that the suspects have finally been apprehended, according to police.
24-year-old Tony Kimhong and 31-year-old Chhoeuth Kim were caught last week after trying to break into the Saloon at 750 S. 7th St., police said.

Police said those occurred at Little Italy Pizza on April 30, Centerfolds Lounge on May 24, Pho Ha Saigon on June 7, Bing Bing Dim Sum on June 24, Cloud 9 Vapor Store on June 24, Stogie Joe’s on June 25, Adobe Cafe on June 28, Bainbridge Street Barrel House on July 3, Artisan Boulanger Patissier on July 4, 4 Fathers on July 6, and Birra on July 8.
Both Kimhong and Kim will be facing charges for burglary, along with other offenses.
