Another vape shop is opening on East Passyunk Avenue
On East Passyunk Avenue, there’s already one vape shop with Cloud N9NE, which opened in July of 2014 across from where the King of Jeans building once stood. Now there’s another shop opening, adding to the growing trend of vaping.
This new shop, called Ringside Vapes, is coming to the former Harriet’s Innerwear location at 1725 E. Passyunk Ave.
In October 2014, the building housing Harriet’s Innerwear was sold and soon after, Harriet’s closed.
Ringside Vapes is being opened by the owner of a vape shop called Fingers Place that is located in Upper Darby.
If you’re interested in trying out vaping, you can trade a cigarette into the shop for a sample.
You can get a look at what sort of merchandise might be in stock on Finger Place’s Facebook page.
Sweet! Another POS vape-store. Classy. Maybe a sneaker store will open next?
“If you’re interested in trying out vaping, you can trade a cigarette into the shop for a sample.”
I’m 100% sure that is illegal in PA.
Just a scam to get kids hooked on vape. This crap needs regulated, ASAP. God only knows what chemicals are being vaporized and dissolved in to the blood stream. The base for these “juices” come in bulk from China, then broken down and repacked for retail sale upon being shipped to the U.S.
Completely agree. Regulation and heavy taxes (similar to cigarettes) are needed. More people that will raise health insurance rates in the future due to illness.
I saw that yesterday and was so disappointed. Booooooo.
Nothing but the finest from Upper Darby!
Neighborhoods need to stand up and keep these vapists out. End vape culture.
trashy as hell. does not fit at all. I’m sure Miss Demeanor and Nice Things are thrilled to have him as a neighbor.
We have a second South Street in the making.
The FDA is 10 years behind on this billion dollar industry, but you sound like a bunch of nimby’s.
@daveflame, you may want to look up the definition of “nimby”. Nobody wants a “vape store” anywhere.
How did this get beyond Renee @ BID?
I believe vape shops are like anything else in a commercially zoned building, in that you don’t need permission from anyone other than the landlord. Am I right, David Goldfarb?
Thanks to the EPX Civic Association for bringing this trash business to our neighborhood. You guys also approved that disaster of a housing development in the 1800 block of S. Camac that’s been dormant for almost six months. Way to go!
Just to clarify, the vape shop was allowed to open by right, so the owners didn’t need permission from anyone except that bulldog owner since it is zoned commercially.
I cant belive the amount of disinfo in the comments.. You people should be ashamed for being so a*s backwards.. Vaping is wholely embraced throughout europe and canada and would be a proven smoking cessation if it wasnt for libtards like you folk.
