Di Bruno Bros. hosting Fall Cheese Crawl, ending with an Italian Market block party
Everyone has heard of a bar crawl, but how about a cheese crawl?
Di Bruno Bros. is hosting a cheese lover’s dream, a Fall Cheese Crawl event, that will include plenty of food, drink and other goodies along the way on Saturday, October 17. There will also be an after-crawl block party in the Italian Market.
On this crawl you’ll have the chance to visit all five Di Bruno Bros. locations. You don’t have to visit them all (one is all the way in Ardmore), but the more shops you go to, the more cheese and other goodies you can sample. You can begin your cheese crawl at one of these four locations: The Franklin (834 Chestnut Street), Comcast Center (1701 JFK Boulevard), Ardmore Farmers’ Market (120 Coulter Avenue) and Rittenhouse Square (1730 Chestnut Street).
Along the crawl you’ll have a chance to participate in a cheesy game of quizzo, see illustrations from artist Denise Fike, pose in a photo booth and more.
The crawl will then end at the Italian Market location at 930 S. 9th St., where a street fair will begin at 2 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. with more food, drink and live music. At the street fair, you’ll be able to redeem the stamps you received on your cheese crawl map for different food and drink options. Once you’ve used all of your stamps, food and drink will be on a pay-as-you-go basis.
This crawl is happening on Saturday, October 17 from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $20. You can find out more here.
