EPX-Mas Tour of Lights returns this weekend
In case taking a seven-mile bike ride through South Philadelphia to see holiday lights isn’t your thing, now is your chance to take a stroll through the holiday sights in every nook and cranny of the neighborhood.
On Sunday, December 20, East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association will continue with their annual tradition of taking a walk through holiday lights.
The tour will begin at the East Passyunk Community Center, where you’ll be able to pick up a map and glow stick, along with the chance to indulge in sweet treats including hot cocoa and other goodies.
From there, you can go off on your own, or join other neighbors on this tour of South Philadelphia lights.
Once you’ve made it through the entire map, you can meet at St. John’s Baptist Church at 1232 Tasker St. At 7:30 p.m. there will be caroling and some free pizza from Francoluigi’s.
A $5 donation will get you the hot cocoa, pizza and other treats along the way. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 20 from the community center at 1025 Mifflin St. If you’d like to buy your tickets in advance, you can do so here.
