Join Kirkbride and Vare-Washington for MLK Day of Service volunteering

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, the community comes together for a day of service with volunteer opportunities throughout the city. There are plenty of coordinated neighborhood cleanups and other events happening everywhere.

Two neighborhood schools are also seeking some volunteers for Monday.

Kirkbride will be participating in MLK Day with a cleanup of the area surrounding the school, in addition to a collection drive for winter wear.

Vare-Washington is doing some beautification of the school for this service day. They’re seeking volunteers for painting and other activities on Saturday and Monday. If you RSVP in advance, you can also get a free t-shirt.
