New mural being completed above Morning Glory restaurant at 10th and Fitzwater
A new mural, featuring a coffee cup with eye balls popping out of it, is currently going up at 10th and Fitzwater, above Morning Glory restaurant.
This street art is a piece by Nikolay Milushev and Plamen Veltchev, both Philadelphia-based artists with a focus on contemporary art. Milushev is frequently known for the use of eyeballs in his art. With the yellow canvas above Morning Glory, it’s sure to brighten this Bella Vista corner.
The cold and snowy weather recently has been slowing down the artists’ process slightly, but it’s steadily moving forward about two months into the process. You can keep tabs on the mural on Veltchev’s Instagram.
