Friends of Kirkbride hosting Night Out fundraiser on Friday

Friends of Kirkbride Elementary School at 7th and Dickinson will be hosting the first-ever fundraising event for the friends group on Friday, May 20.

A Night Out For Kirkbride will be a silent auction, with money going towards improvements to the school.

Attendees will be treated to food from Cosmis, Tamalex, Tiffin, Termini Brothers and Taffets Bakery, along with beer from Lagunitas and wine offerings.

What can you bid on at the event? There are a variety of prizes, ranging from gift baskets with family-themed activities, the opportunity to have a bounce house party, and more than 50 prizes from local businesses. You’ll be able to bid on restaurant prizes from the soon-to-open Perla, Restaurant Neuf, Brewery ARS, Bing Bing Dim Sum and more. Prizes are being offered from other businesses like Occasionette, Palo Santo Wellness Boutique and Cloth. Theatre Exile, the Franklin Institute and more have prizes up for grabs, as well.

The event is being held in the Industrious Office building at 230 S. Broad St. on Friday, May 20. The event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. You can find out more about Friends of Kirkbride and buy tickets here.
