South Philly holiday lights run tonight
If biking through holiday lights isn’t your thing, you can join the South Philly Striders and the Fishtown Beer Runners on their annual run through South Philly’s light displays.
Tonight, December 15, the group run will begin at Toll Man Joe’s on Oregon Avenue and will continue on a 3.5 or 5 mile run through South Philly’s best lights.
The run begins and ends at Toll Man Joe’s at 26 E. Oregon Ave. The bar will have drink specials available after you make it through the chilly holiday run.
Feel free to wear your best holiday outfits. Who doesn’t love lights, bells and other seasonal fun?
The run will begin at 7 p.m. In addition to any running necessities, you are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for Philabundance. You can find out more on the Facebook event listing.
