First Pics: New breakfast and lunch spot now open at 1320 Point Breeze Ave.
Point Breeze now has another nice option for breakfast and lunch.
This new restaurant, called Tasty Toast, opened about a month ago at 1320 Point Breeze Ave.
Tasty Toast serves a variety of sandwiches, omelettes, waffles, salads and more. While most of the menu is pretty standard food for breakfast and lunch, there are some more special options with things like waffle sandwiches.
In addition to the food on the menu, there are also homemade pastries made each day.
Beyond food options, there are also beverages including coffee, tea, iced coffee and lemonade.
The decor at Tasty Toast is light and airy, with plenty of plants placed throughout the location.
The location has an abundance of succulents, some of which are in beverage cans. They are “made with love” and available for purchase for $4.99.
Tasty Toast is open seven days a week. Hours are from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. through 2 p.m. on Sunday. You can contact the restaurant at 215-465-1040 and check out their Yelp page here.
The fresh creamed chipped beef is my new favorite breakfast dish here! So good!
Also, ask for the honey butter with your toast/pastry. Yum!
I only discovered the Tasty Toast approximately 3 weeks ago and I will admit I’ve gone back multiple times since. The decor is wonderful, light, and airy. Facilities are clean. The owners are very sweet and attentive to the customers. The food is fantastic! I highly recommend this wonderful establishment! And how lucky are we that it’s right here in our own neighborhood 🙂
