Lookin’ to get into the restaurant business?
Michael Klein of The Insider reports that Snockey’s, both the building at 1020 S. 2nd St. and the business itself, is being marketed for sale. What does it mean for the century old oyster house?
That’s still to be determined, as Klein notes that owners Ken and Skip Snock “aren’t talking” about the potential sale. He does mention that it doesn’t mean that it’s closing or even on the verge of closing, and surmises that the Snock’s could just be tired of day-to-day operations of the business.
Not to go all SoPhilly Spotlight on you, but the building is listed for $1.35M and includes the liquor license, the bar/restaurant and free parking. But that’s not all, oh no, that’s not all:
