Inside Out to bring art reproductions to the streets of East Passyunk
UPDATE: This post has been updated to include photos of some of the installed art pieces around East Passyunk.
In March we mentioned a new program, called Inside Out, which would be bringing reproductions of artwork from the Philadelphia of Museum of Art to the streets of East Passyunk.
We now have a list of the 11 locations and the artworks that will be displayed at those locations for this exhibition that will run from mid-May through August.
In East Passyunk, there will be a total of eleven artworks on display outdoors all summer, all within walking distance of each other. The artworks include reproductions of pieces by Renoir, Marsden Hartley, Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet and more.
The outdoor exhibits are located outside of some East Passyunk Avenue shops and restaurants like A Man’s Image and Adobe Cafe, at Columbus Square park, Neumann-Goretti High School, the PHS pop-up garden coming to 9th and Wharton and more.
In addition to the Inside Out program in East Passyunk, there will also be more artworks displayed in other neighborhoods in close proximity to Philadelphia. You can find out more about the program here.
Are you excited to see these artworks displayed throughout East Passyunk?
