Whetstone opening this week, here’s a look at the restaurant’s menu
Whetstone, the new restaurant from Jeremy Nolen of Brauhaus Schmitz, is finally opening at 5th and Bainbridge.
The restaurant was originally slated to open last summer, but after some delays, the spot is now expected to open this week. With the opening date almost here, we now have a look at the menu for the restaurant.
The dinner menu includes everything from dishes like the Passyunk Pork, which is a 12 oz. bone-in pork chop, to options with rabbit and seafood, along with more easy-going soups and sandwiches.
The desert menu includes classic options like cheesecake, cobbler and apple pie.
The drink menu has 15 beers on tap, along with cocktails and wines. As far as non-alcoholic options go, Whetstone will be serving Rival Brothers coffee.
The restaurant is set to open on Wednesday, July 15. Whetstone will be open seven days a week. You can grab some food from 5 p.m. until the kitchen closes at midnight.
