East Passyunk Avenue hosting music and arts festival for Second Saturday

This month’s Second Saturday on East Passyunk Avenue will include something new.

In addition to sales along the avenue, a sidewalk sale and an antique market, there will be an arts and music festival occurring at the newly improved Mifflin Street Triangle.

A total of 10 musicians are on the lineup, including artists like Chalk and the Beige Americans, Nate Antar, Lauren Scott and more. In addition to music, you’ll have a chance to check out some live street art, various vendors, food trucks and more.

Also happening for Second Saturday is the antique market in the parking lot between Tasker and Morris and the sidewalk sale stretching down East Passyunk Avenue. More than 50 vendors will be participating in the antique market.

As usual, you’ll also have a chance to stop by businesses along the avenue for discounts, entertainment and more.

The music festival will run from 11 a.m. through 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 10; the antique market begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.; and the sidewalk sale runs from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. You can find out more about the events here. The rain date is Sunday, October 11.
