B. Wilk Fabrics relocates on 4th Street

Fabric Row is in the process of change, with many new businesses redefining this stretch of 4th Street and streetscape improvements moving forward. With the new, some of the old has began to leave the street, as we told you with two fabric stores closing in November.

Now another fabric shop on 4th Street has decided to relocate to the location of one of the shuttered shops. B. Wilk Fabrics has moved into the former Fabrics on Fourth location at 801 S. 4th St.

B. Wilk Fabrics was formerly located at 618 S. 4th St. Once this location was freed up with the closing of Fabrics on Fourth, they moved their inventory farther south on Fabric Row. The shop reopened in mid-December.

As you walk past the store, you’ll likely notice the change of the color of the facade. The once yellow storefront is now a shade of purple.

This fabric store dates back to the 1950’s when Bernie Wilk first established this fabric store on 4th Street. Now his family has continued the tradition for more than 60 years.
