Gofundme page set up to raise money for Broad and Dickinson hit and run victims
Earlier this month, a mother and two of her children were hit by a car at the intersection of Broad and Dickinson, right by Benna’s West. The suspect, who at the time of the incident was driving a 2001 red Honda Accord, has yet to be caught.
The 30-year-old mother Stefanie McMillan and her two children, aged 5-years-old and 4-months-old, sustained injuries, but are currently recovering in the comforts of their home. The family is now seeking help from the community, with a gofundme page set up to raise money for their medical costs and lost wages due to these injuries.
According to NBC10‘s report after the incident, the mother had been treated for head injuries, the 5-year-old suffered a broken leg and femur and the 4-month-old had sustained scrapes to the head.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2. The vehicle in question, a 2001 red Honda Accord, was seen fleeing the scene, going east on Dickinson Street. The vehicle likely sustained damage to the hood and lost a passenger-side mirror.
As of Friday, February 19, the page has raised $1,525 for the family, with a goal of raising $5,000.
You can donate to the gofundme page here. If you have information on this incident, or have seen the vehicle, you can contact the Accident Investigations District at 215-685-3180 /81, or call 911.

Congratulations! You’re a terrible person (also, I doubt you’re making enough money to actually fund any of America’s welfare system. If you’re bored on a Friday, as you seem to be, you might do a little research into how that system works).
