Plenty Cafe to open Queen Village location next week

Back in 2014 we first told you about the plans for Plenty Cafe to open a new Queen Village location. To open this cafe, they would need to fully renovate the former Fleishman Fabrics building, in the process creating the eight-unit Fabric Loft apartments upstairs.

After two years of work, the cafe is finally ready for its debut at 705 S. 5th St. On Monday, November 14 you’ll have the chance to stop in at Plenty’s biggest location yet.

Last year Plenty debuted a new looks and focus at the East Passyunk Avenue location. Instead of just being a coffee and sandwich shop, the cafe shifted to an approach that blends the original elements of Plenty with a bar and more food options for dinner, like the “evening” menu and “bites & boards.” This new Queen Village location will take that same approach, but on a larger scale.

There will be even more drink options, with craft beers, wines and even draft coffee.

Hours will be 7 a.m. to 12 s.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. on weekends.
