ACME had the nerve to put a brightly colored leaflet on my windshield saying I was definitely not inside the store for 3 days straight and I need to move my car. Can you imagine, they didn’t want to subsidize my free spot?!
The nerve indeed. I think the city should bulldoze Acme and the entirety of Passyunk Ave and turn it into a giant parking lot so there’s extra capacity for everyone. NO CAR WILL GO WITHOUT PARKING!
I am guessing they will shift some things around between the florist, produce, bakery, and deli sections to create a space. Or build a whole new space where the paper products currently are.
This sucks. Where will they park?!
Lou: At Acme you doofus
@Troi ACME’s lot is basically full every night! Between my wife and kids, I gotta find spots for four cars. And that’s not counting my work’s van.
You are right! The city should allow median parking on 11th street, and build another median on Passyunk to accommodate!
“MUH PARKING!!!”

Speaking of Acme…no mention on here about the bright as the sun liquor license posted on the front door?
Just saw that yesterday! I’m totally excited about the idea but WHERE the hell do they expect to put a beer section??

Put coolers in the soda aisle, since nobody buys that crap now.
