- Noon. Italian Movie Matinee. Italian language films at the Fumo Family Library. You are welcome to bring a bagged lunch or a snack.

- 8am to 5pm. West Passyunk Outdoor Flea Market, 1400 West Passyunk Ave. 2 blocks of vendors along West Passyunk from Broad to 16th Street. Hosted by Phila Flea Markets
- 9am to 3pm. Spring Flea Market at the Thomas F. Donatucci, Sr. Library. 1935 Shunk Street. Sponsored by Friends of the Donatucci Library. All proceeds benefit the Donatucci Branch of the Free Library. Bake sale & concessions too. Rain date: Saturday, May 19, 2018
- 10:00 am. Jawns and Jams Craft & Flea Market DiSilvestro Rec Center. 1701 S 15th St. Craft and flea market, music and more. Check out the Free Library’s book mobile.
- Noon to 8pm. 9th Annual IPA,Champagne and Rosé Block Party. 738 S. 11th St. Hosted by Hawthornes Beer Cafe. All-day, all-ages block party on South 11th Street featuring live bands, food trucks, expanded family fun zone, and on tap: IPAs, small batch champagnes, sparkling wines and rosés.
- 10 am. Community Day, South Philly High School. Featuring food, games, music, and resources for the community.
- 10 am to 12pm. 2nd Annual Rolling Rodeo. Children 12 and under are welcome to bring ‘anything on wheels’ to the Southwark School yard. Sponsored by Friends of Southwark. More here.
- 10 am to 2pm. Brotherly Love for Italy Walking Tour. Meet at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. A little outside of South Philly, but of interest to our Italian-American community. Explore Italian influences in Philadelphia architecture. Purchase tickets here. Sponsored by Professionisti Italiani a Philadelphia and the Consulate General of Italy.

- 6pm – 11pm. BBQ & Beer @Herman’s Coffee. Hosted by South Philly Smökhaus at Herman’s Coffee. 1313 S 3rd Street. Pre-order your BBQ platter here to secure your favorite smoked meat. Limited walk-up orders of BBQ available day of, first come first serve.
