Get struttin’ this summer with ‘Mummer’s Under the Stars’ on Thursday nights
Looking for something to do that’s uniquely Philly on Thursday night’s this summer? Head on down to the Mummer’s Museum at 2nd Street (sorry, Two Street) and Washington Avenue for Mummer’s Under the Stars — an old fashioned block party featuring refreshments and an outdoor concert each week.
Visitors are encouraged to get their Mummer on, so bring your folding chairs and golden slippers, you’re going to be doing some struttin’ as you listen to the sweet sounds of the string bands at the outdoor stage behind the museum.
If it happens to rain, the concerts will be held inside the museum on the main stage where you’ll get a peek at the history of the Mummer’s. Everything gets started around 8 p.m. Give the Mummer’s Museum a call at 215-336-3050 if you have any questions.
