Here’s everything you need to know about the 2nd Annual EOM 2Stock in Pennsport
The 2nd Annual EOM 2Stock Music Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the baseball field on Front and Pierce streets in Pennsport. Basically, you better be ready for a full day of music, food and a ton of fun. Gates open at 10 a.m.
This year, the festival will celebrate local artists and the Edward O’Malley Athletic Complex (simply known as EOM) in a 12-hour party-like atmosphere only Two Street can provide. Two stages will be situated in the parking lot and playing out towards the “lawn seats” on the EOM baseball field. Pennsport hot-spot Moonshine will be on hand slingin’ cheap eats for hungry concertgoers out of their tent on Moore Street.
“With the schools closing, we are starting to lose our identity,” said Tom Betteridge, 2Stock’s Production Manager referring to the closure of area staples Abigail Vare Elementary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Sacred Heart Schools. “We can’t forget how important EOM is to the neighborhood.”
All of the proceeds benefit the youth athletic programs at the EOM as well as the 298, Inc., which is the charitable arm of the IBEW Local 98. This map gives you a better idea of the layout for the festival. When talking about the importance of athletic programs to area kids, Betteridge noted the recent parade for the Taney Dragons Little League baseball team. “The EOM is an absolute gem in this neighborhood,” Betteridge said. Every kid in attendance will received a free beach ball.

Date & Time: Saturday, September 27th. Gates open at 10am. The festival ends promptly at 9:30pm.
Lineup – Alia, Bosom Band, Carousel Kinds, Casey Rhoades, Doctor Jimmy, Felicia Punzo, Gootch & the Bus Stop Band, Haley Alexandra, Independent Rock, Johnny Moskal, Kings for a Day, Mia Johnson, SPiN, StoneHouse Lane, T.C. Cole, The 5 Man Trio, The Deadbeats, Triple Play, and Wild Card.
Kids Zone – Fun-filled area featuring face painting, arts and crafts from Kim Stowman, magicians from South Street Magic, festival rides and a kids-specific music stage. Rides are open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a free magic show takes place from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Building Beauty Zone – The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will be on hand to educate concertgoers on the rain barrel and rain garden program from the Philadelphia Water Department. Betteridge also explained that they’ll be selling mums, hay bales and providing information on the reporting vacant lots for beautification.
Social Media Zone – This area will have posters and “selfie” opportunities. More importantly, a cellphone charging station will be located here, which is pretty clutch for a 12 hour music festival.
Tickets are $15 for everyone over 18 years of age, with $10 admittance for kids 10 to 17 years old. Kids under 10 years old are free with a paid adult and received said beach ball. You can pick them up in person at King’s Music a 1828 E. Passyunk Ave. or South Street Magic at 617 east Passyunk Ave.
