Erace brothers of Green Aisle Grocery are getting a Food Network show
The Erace brothers opened the first location of Green Aisle Grocery back in 2009 at 1618 E. Passyunk Ave. Since then, they opened a second location at 2241 Grays Ferry Ave. in 2014 and are soon expanding beyond South Philly with a new location opening in Fishtown.
Now owners Andrew and Adam Erace will be expanding to a national audience with a show called Great American Food Finds coming to the Food Network.
Here’s the Food Network’s description of the show:
With a sixth sense for the unexpected and delicious, brothers Adam and Andrew Erace travel the country in search of America’s hidden food treasures to fill their family market’s shelves. Whether it is a mac’ and cheese pie at the out-of-the-way farm stand, or the bacon-studded fudge brownies at the hole-in-the-wall bakery, the Erace brothers are on a mission to find it and put it on your plate.
Great American Food Finds will premiere on Monday, August 3 at 10:30 p.m. on the Food Network.
Went there today for a water. $3 and the guy was a prik. Overpriced shack.
lol… how on earth did you confuse Green Aisle with WalMart?! You belong on Pier 70, not Passyunk Ave.!
The place is a bit expensive, but the goods are excellent. Love their eggs, great selection of top-class ice cream, great peanut butter, etc.
And as far as the guy being a “prik”, I can’t imagine how that’s possible. Every time I’ve ever been in there, I’ve been greeted with nothing but courtesy and respect.
